Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient Treatment

Having a robust outpatient program for our substance abuse and mental health patients enables us to provide a flexible but full continuum of care that works for our patients’ lives.

Many of the patients at our outpatient facilities find time to visit us for treatment while juggling simultaneous job and career commitments, family life, or their first steps in sobriety at a recovery house. Still others utilize our outpatient programming without having ever graduated a residential program, relying on outpatient care alone.

In any case, our outpatient sites are staffed by industry-leading clinicians, therapists, nurses, and personnel who provide care for those struggling with substance misuse or mental health issues. All patients are also eligible to enjoy speciality holistic care including art therapy, money management, and experiential therapy.

Our 24/7 Transportation team is available to drive many of our patients to and from Outpatient treatment.

What’s more, our Synergy Health Programs offers a unique option at the outpatient level: Psychotherapy that works for you. Our talk therapy, provided by trained specialists and experts in such forms of care as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), can be booked by individual session or at a regular frequency.

Intensive Outpatient Program

As a rehabilitation center that uses a Continuum of Care model, we offer both intensive outpatient (IOP) services and traditional outpatients (OP) services. Outpatient services may include individual, group, and family therapies for those seeking ongoing treatment. Studies show participation in outpatient programming for 6 to 12 months lead to improved rates of long-term sobriety.

We offer an IOP program designed to provide patients with the full support they need to complete each step of recovery. Our therapists at Retreat Behavioral Health include master’s-level clinicians, licensed counselors, and licensed psychologists.

We offer the following through our IOP program:

  • A gradual, step-down treatment model
  • A small, safe group environment ideal for building relationships
  • Ongoing support delivered through a team-focused approach
  • Experiential and holistic treatment options including but not limited to; art therapy, and money management.
  • Transportation options

After completion of the IOP program, we will continue to check up with former patients in case additional support is needed. Our mission is to provide our patients with the tools they will need to maintain sobriety for the rest of their lives.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Individuals who need additional structured treatment can benefit from our partial hospitalization program (PHP) at Retreat Premier Addiction Treatment Centers. This daytime program is designed to help patients make the transition from inpatient treatment to independent sober living. An individual can participate in our PHP while residing in a sober living environment or while living at home. Individuals who participate in the PHP receive a highly structured approach to treatment, ongoing medical services, and additional therapy.
