Holistic Therapy
Holistic therapy believes in treating the individual as a whole, recognizing the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. Unlike traditional methods focusing on separate components, holistic therapy takes a comprehensive approach. In substance use treatment, this approach incorporates various complementary practices alongside conventional treatments to support recovery and promote overall wellness.
Medication-Assisted Treatment
Our MAT program is designed to support individuals by addressing the psychological and physical aspects of substance use. By incorporating FDA-approved medications, such as buprenorphine, methadone, or naltrexone, into a comprehensive treatment plan, we help alleviate withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings, and promote stabilization.
Medical Detoxification
Our medical detoxification services are designed to ensure the highest level of care and support for our residents. Our compassionate and experienced team of physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists are well-versed in managing withdrawal symptoms and complications associated with substance use.
Staying at Retreat
Aftercare Planning
The journey to recovery doesn’t end with completing a stay in residential treatment. Ongoing support and guidance are critical to individuals transitioning back into their everyday lives. Prior to leaving our drug and alcohol treatment center in CT, we begin what’s called the aftercare planning process, in which we consider individual goals, support networks, lifestyle, and each person’s specific challenges. From there, we collaborate to identify potential triggers, develop coping strategies, and establish a resource and support system network to aid their continued recovery.
