The leading provider of substance abuse and mental health care will debut the new center in an open house free to the public on Friday, March 15th, from 9am to 1pm.

(SOUTH MIAMI, FL) — On Friday, March 15th, Retreat Behavioral Health will unveil its first site in Miami, FL — an outpatient center where patients can be assessed for a range of clinical or psychiatric care needs.
The new destination will complement, and serve as an extension of, Retreat’s primary Florida headquarters in Palm Beach County. This announcement comes at a time when the company has been robustly expanding, with the launch of a new mental health care division — Synergy Health Programs — and imminent plans for multiple outpatient sites in metropolitan areas.
This new South Miami site will serve as a community touchpoint enabling patients to meet with a licensed therapist and receive an evaluation for substance abuse and/or mental health treatment.
Upon completion of the assessment, patients will receive a clinical recommendation with their next suggested course of action, which will be tailored to their unique circumstances. Patients will leave with a clear understanding of the challenges they face, and how to address them more extensively. This might include a referral to another treatment provider that Retreat has thoroughly vetted for quality standards.
Eventually, the center will evolve into a fully operational outpatient facility functioning at the PHP, IOP, and GOP levels of care. It will be equipped to serve patients’ needs under both divisions of Retreat Behavioral Health: Retreat Premier Addiction Treatment Centers and Synergy Health Programs.

The office is conveniently located in the Coral Gables district of South Miami, where two important community healthcare landmarks are our neighbors: South Miami Hospital (Baptist Health South Florida) and Larkin Community Hospital. This strategic location enables us to support both hospitals, and the wider area, to help patients secure the care they need.
On March 15th, Retreat will inaugurate the new center by hosting an open house for members of the public. Our executive leadership team will greet guests, who will have an opportunity to sit down with clinical specialists to explore our substance abuse and mental health treatment programming in rich detail. An array of refreshments and light bites will be served. The event will be held from 9am to 1pm.
