JULY 18TH 2016, PALM SPRINGS, FL: Retreat Premier Addiction Treatment Centers is proud to announce that effective immediately they are able to accept patients referred from any VA Hospital in the United States at their new location in Palm Beach County, Florida. Retreat at Palm Beach is able to provide medical detoxification and residential rehabilitation services for veterans from across the country provided that they are referred by a VA Hospital. “We are thrilled to be able to provide high quality substance abuse treatment for our nation’s veterans” stated Peter Schorr, President and CEO of Retreat Premier Addiction Treatment Centers. “There are 1.6 million veterans in Florida with 50,000 living in Palm Beach County. We feel like we are uniquely positioned to treat veterans as we have done so for several years at our Lancaster County facility in Pennsylvania. We have a unique track at Retreat at Lancaster County that addresses trauma and PTSD and we have veterans on our clinical staff at both of our facilities” stated Mr. Schorr.
Retreat at Palm Beach is Retreat Premier Addiction Treatment Centers’ new state of the art 109 bed facility. Hoping to serve as a catalyst for change in the way that substance abuse treatment is delivered in the state of Florida, Retreat at Palm Beach will be in network with most insurances and provides all inclusive, detox and residential rehabilitation services on site. “Retreat at Palm Beach opened its doors on June 7th of this year and will adhere to the model that has been successful for us in Pennsylvania. We have staff-to-patient ratios that far exceed the industry standards, a host of diverse holistic programming available to patients, and a strong focus on clinical excellence with patients receiving a tremendous amount of therapeutic care and support” states COO, Ken Kosza.
Retreat Premier Addiction Treatment Centers has been treating veterans at their Lancaster County location in Pennsylvania since it opened in 2011. In addition to providing veterans with inpatient treatment, Retreat at Lancaster County also works with the veterans and their local Veterans Affairs Hospital to develop a strong aftercare care plan for patients upon discharge. Each veteran works with an outreach coordinator whose job it is to assure that the veteran is set up with appropriate therapeutic services and housing upon discharge. Veterans entering treatment at Retreat at Palm Beach will be provided the same service.
